decal placement / orentation

I need to get an opinion about this problem .
The "left side" placement I know is correct.
the "right side" placement is what I have a question about

I have the exact same question!!

I typically have the rocket on my table, with the nosecone point towards the right. so, when applying decals, that's the way they read, like your bottom pic..
 
If you work in a library, you are taught to shelve books like the bottom picture. Words read bottom to top, with the "underline" to the right. For what it's worth.
 
Bobby, IINM, if you know that one side is correct, it's unlikely that there is a change in orientation for the other side. So, if the resource you've got shows the rocket pointing to the left, and the lettering reading from the nosecone down the length of the rocket, it's very likely that the opposite side will match it.
