Always wanted to try composite construction, just didn't have the means. Was tossing scrap in a dumpster on a jobsite an happened to notice not only a foodsaver but also a complete roll of bags. Used a single layer of 6oz glass, some scrap ripstop nylon from a parachute project and a few paper towels. It added 10.5 grams total and easily doubled the stiffness.
