It has been 51 years since I have seen the cockpit of a B-52 and it sure brought back memories. Thanks Winston

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to watching the bombers airborn later this week! Can't wait. Will post photos if they're decent!

Interesting. I was visiting my daughters and grand kids today in Bellevue, NE today. One lives a few blocks East of the base and I saw a B-1B taking off. Unmistakable profile.

BUFF is the nickname/acronym for the B-52. Big Ugly Fat F'er is what it stands for.

The B-2 and the B-29's were the highlight of the show for me.

Maybe the most beautiful bomber of all time?
I think so and for the same reason I love the F-16 - it looks like it's doing mach when sitting still. Also really like the B-58 and the XB-70 with wing tips down, both planes, especially the XB-70, pushing the technology forward out of necessity.

Really like the B-52, too, because it's very "beefy" with swept wings. Its silhouette from below looks properly menacing.

A B-52 as a flying model rocket. 8 D12's in the wings and 3 C6 in the back tail gun/radar positions. Landing gear down, bomb bay doors open and wing mounts loaded to equalize the drag from that big tail.

A B-1 as a flying model rocket. 4 E -12 in the usual spots and one in the back end of the fuselage for some nice center line thrust. Gear down.

A B-2 as a flying model rocket. 2 big ones 29mm in the usual spots with two smaller 18-24mm canted up front and shrouded back - would that look good enough? Gear up, rear eject?

The XB 70 with the six pack has already been done.

Get out the cluster box and lots of Q2G2's and wire with Top Men down in the Springs/South Park? Good idea? Crazy? Fun? Not boring?

I went up the day that both B-29s took to the air, and a bunch of B-25s. Great fun! These are just a few of the hundreds of pics I took.

This is what we saw just after entering the show area:

This was a nice surprise, a flown Blue-Origin sub-orbital booster. This one has flown 5 times:
