RIMRA will be holding a LPR/MPR launch on Saturday, July 8. Unfortunately, we cannot use our usual launch site at Peckham Farm, as it has recently been seeded, and they want to keep foot traffic off of it until it starts growing. (The August launch should be ok.)
As an alternative, URI is offering an athletic field on Plains Road. I'm attaching a picture. The GPS coordinates are 41.486277, -71.544666. In total, the set of fields is ~2000' by 1500'. This will likely be a smaller, old-school launch, but it should be fun, as long as the weather cooperates.
