I have no doubt it would be tough. Could very well 3D-print the shroud, if it ever got to that point.
SquirrelWorks Liberator-like intake on the third. If anyone's still monitoring this thread I'm genuinely interested in opinions on these.
I'm rather partial to the Warp-core (with warp 9 propellant!), but that liberator intake looks cool!
Also......Is there any chance those three tubes may be cluster capable? Your life looks like it could use some complication lol
FWIW, that 3rd design has a serious air trap. Pemberton had me redesign a model for him with an intake like that, and it had serious stability issues. It wasn't until I made it so the air traveled through it, that is stabilized.
How many different tube sizes does that use?
and is there a record for Most Tube Sizes Used in A Single Rocket?
Another slight variation of the warp core. There are an infinite number of ways to do this, I feel like I'm barely scratching the surface.
Interesting... I think I prefer the original style of short warp core though.
I like!First pass:
Not a bad start. Probably need to re-open this (and others) in the new version of OR once it's ironed out, so I can properly experiment with pod variations.
I'm still waiting for you to release the Biohazard as a kit...
2) I continue to remain a staunch supporter of the long-core Plasma Dart 1. Reminds me of Voyager.
Two things are becoming clear to me:
1) This thread has lost most of its juice. Possibly I have worn out my welcome with posting so many variants of the same designs. Should I keep going here? Change what I'm doing? Put this in a different subforum? For now I will soldier on.
one suggestion for how to make that warp core, look for sparkly/reflective gift wrapping paper, .....
