So after posting about a new launch pad, I made the decison to buy the rockwell jawstand. This seemed to best fit my needs. I made this to be able to accept 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 launch rods. I took to plastic pads off the top of the stand and fitted a 6"x15" piece of Aluminum. it is 3/8" thick. I drilled the 6 holes to match the mouting pattern. Next I added a 1/2" Chuck to the center off the mount. This will allow me to utilize all size launch rods. I drilled a 1/2" hole and used a 1/2" x 1.25" SS bolt. I got the Chuck at Harbour Freight. After all the holes were drilled and fitted, I cleaned up the aluminum a bit and it was time for test fitting. So far it looks to be working just like I had hoped. I plan to add an quick connect for the launch controller and a mount for a camera. Those updates are to come as I have not done it yet. Let me know what you think.
