What am i looking for in charge testing?

That works great, but what if you forget your charges at home? What if for some reason one e-match that had continuity the night before doesn't now that you are on the pad? What if you had to change shear pins at the field because you left them, and now need to test at the field and make more charges?

I try to make as many processes that I use to assembly and fly my rockets work in the field conditions as well as controlled ones at my house because Murphy will always be there waiting. I typically do not make charges the night before because I don't like having them around. I don't know field conditions the next day and if I am able to fly. I don't want to store charges for a month until the next launch.

You can do what works for you, but I've found that in 15 years of doing this having processes that work in field conditions give me the best chance to fly the most.
