Staging went perfectly, with all motors in both stages firing.

The 7ft central rocket recovered gently right near the low power pads.

All six of the second stage rockets were recovered in perfect condition.

I can't wait to see the video; all seven rockets hit their apogee at the same time and arced over together like it was choreographed that way. Maybe it was?!

At the Acton launch Jim Flis requested a TOGinator flight at the

FlisKits Anniversary launch by CMASS at Amesbury, MA on 9/16/17

Tape between motors ready to receive flashpans

pic 3 - multiple, mini flashpans ready to go, held between layers of tape
At the field, blue tape is opened up, igniter inserted...5..4..3..

Do you have instructions up somewhere on how to build the mini flashpans? I have a 7x18mm cluster I'm working on that probably needs a flashpan to light all the motors.

Thanks!

In post 89 the 2nd pic is motors before flashpan. Masking tape covers gaps between motors.
Not shown, each motor nozzle is filled with BP, and then each nozzle has quickmatch laid over it. At one or two points in each flashpan, leave a small opening lined in paper to insert igniter(s).
In post 89 3rd pic 2 layers of masking tape has been laid over this. Make sure to press all tape in place.
This technique has been 99.8% reliable so far.
