I am no tailor, but I can, given some time, sew two edges together. Thinking of picking up a yard of this and making a sheath for my shock cord for my L2 project. Shock cord is Kevlar, but is not easily replaceable (it's epoxied to the mmt)....so why not protect it, right?

Would this work?

Because if it would, I'd have enough nomex to make protectors for just about every rocket I would ever think of making for about the next 2 years...

PM me your mailing address and I'll send you a pair of nomex pants. You can make stuff from the material. Firefighting clothing and some equipment have a shelf life's. That can't be used after that date. Your local FD might be able to help.
