Lots of interesting footage I've never seen before. The film is not dirty or film gate scratched, but in a few places has horrible Kodak film dye color shifts and contrast loss.

One excuse for the Russian advantage in missile development that caught my notice was "Russia, not hampered by having to police the world..." At least they do admit "a lack of foresight" at the end of the film. One reason not mentioned in the video for the Russian's preference for missiles is that they are much cheaper than developing and operating a huge bomber force that could successfully penetrate US airspace. I suspect that wasn't mentioned because that's the force that the US had.
