Down is finite, up is infinite

There was a nice article in the local paper about several local rocketry teams, both TARC and Student Launch. While we all like to see the technical things, the reporter took a human-interest angle.

Having been reading altimeters and inspecting eggs at the returns table at the TARC finals this past Saturday and seeing these kids (and those from all over the country) in action..... I have to say I came away excited for our future and very impressed.

And that a group of eighth-graders won it all is even more impressive. That team also took the award for the best "engineering notebook". There's a lesson here, I think....
