I've got one rocket that needs a second coat of primer (Rusto Filler Primer), and two that need a first coat. Judging by the weather (rain all day Friday and all night), I'm guessing that it's going to be too humid tomorrow to paint.

I wouldn't do a top coat in humid conditions. But my thinking on primer is that it gets sanded smooth, so even if it goes on funny, it should probably be OK.

Anybody do primer under non-ideal conditions? How did it go? Think this will be fine? I plan to take my time with the sanding, so I hope tomorrow won't be a lost cause.

Thanks!

I have sprayed primer in very humid conditions with no problems.

Primer being so porus isn't as humidity effected as color coats. I've primed lots if times in very humid, rainy conditions with no ill effects...well except it taking a little longer to completely cure:)
