All,
We need a club member to volunteer to tow the trailer to and from the launch site! It requires a 1/2-ton pickup or equivalent. The trailer needs to arrive by 8:30 AM, and stays until it gets too windy to fly, or until everyone calls it quits - usually no later than 2:00 pm. This was one of the reasons that we didn't have a launch in April. Yes, the weather was sub-optimal, but on top of that no one was available to tow.
I believe that the trailer "lives" in the southern part of SLC, or closer to the launch site.
Me - I drive a 2006 Scion. I can fit my car _in_ the trailer, but I can't tow it.
BTW, I know the club Treasurer pretty well, and I'm pretty sure that I can get him to reimburse your fuel expenses...
