Anyone in central NC who is interested in getting some of these motors, email me at bassmattf at gmail dot com. (eliminate spaces) I can help you out.

I don't collect motors myself but older motors are somewhat rare do to them being a consumable product. Lots of people collect things that can last a long time, but motors were meant to be consumable so they become more scarce as time goes on.

Remember with the Dr. Frank cases he didn't believe in thrust rings so one needs a motor block with all-thread in the middle for retention. He was right about the thrust rings as when pushing a motor to the edge, a groove cut in the case
likely was a "weaker" point. Kurt

Masking tape thrust ring, and aluminum tape retention. Easy and it works.

I have tons of other goodies. Just don't know what you are looking for. If you want a rocket motor of any type that was ever made, let me know, I probably have at least one. Obviously the really rare motors are few and will not be going at fire-sale prices but I will sell them . How about an FSI composite F-32 or G-60. Coasters. AVI motors. Centuri 13mm B motors. Reaction Labs Motors. Estes D-13 motors (in original tubes). What do you guys want? Let me know.

If I had a dollar for everyone who asked me about Rocketflite motors I could retire today. Sorry, no Rocketflites. I wish I would have bought a thousand of them when they were out at Danville Il. every 6 months. Was never really all that impressed with them but shows you what I know.

This sale was the perfect follow on to the motor porn thread. I can't believe I'm going to get to (try to) fly some of the stuff that went away before I became a BAR. I don't think I overlapped with some of this stuff the first time I launched rockets as a kid.

Anyhow, thanks for the very unique sale. Also, Mike is a good guy to work with for anyone wondering.

Very excited to have some of these on the way! I will finally own some Vulcan motors!!!

Some will be stored, some flown. This will coincide very nicely with completing my workshop and resuming flight status:)

Heres a bump to the thread. Im running out of things to post.

OK here is a selection of Weco and Rapier motors from I believe Germany. Included are 3 packages of Weco D-7 motors. 2 packages of Held 1000 motors (10 motors in each package). These motors are like long c size with 5 second burn times. According to the thrust curve on the side of the package they have a thrust of about 1.5 ns for 5 seconds (with an initial thrust spike). Lastly are 2 Rapier Bison motors. Labeled as E4-0.

All offers considered.

Centuri 13mm B Motors! I wish you were a dealer that could ship them in the mail.
I am keeping my eyes open for the single-use composite Apogee B and C motors.

Marcus, Mike W, please check your email. I ran into a bit of a major problem.

This comment is a bit late but I wanted to acknowledge Otis/Mike as an excellent individual to do business with.

The two of us exchanged several PMs concerning motors he had for sale.

Upon learning that Mike would be attending NARAM-58 I placed an order to pick up at the event.

Mike was at NARAM-58 on Sunday in the Vendor Row with a table full of 'old' motors.

Once I mentioned my name he brought out a shoebox with my motor order inside.
I added a Mini-Max F55-4 motor and we made the transaction.
He was pleasant and friendly and egged me on to buy more of the motors he had for sale (I really wanted to buy more but didn't have any more $$$ :( ).

I flew three of the motors I bought from him at NARAM-58 (Centuri B14-0 (Staged to Estes A8-5), Centuri B14-5 and NCRBE F62-6). All motors worked fine without any issues.

I spoke to another NARAM-58 attendee who purchased an Enerjet F24 from Mike. Another satisfied customer.

So Mike, any chance you will attend NARAM-59 and bring motors for sale?

Thanks, again.
