First flights of 2016

We had some unseasonably warm weather here in NY today so we did our first launches of the year. My Estes Mercury Redstone that's been flying since 1987. Sirius Interrogator. Two scratch builds designed by my sons, both BT-80 about 34" flying on D12-3's.

Awesome. We had the sunshine, but along with it came wind gusts from 30-40mph. It's always something. ;-)
