Lets see who can figure this out from just the fins and listed components!

It will be a 318% upscale, and measure out to 72 inches. The fins are 0.125" G10. I plan to have it fly on an 38mm 720N reload at Distant Thunder this fall, and document the build here. I'll have to know the final weight before I decide which motor to use. If the first flight is great I may use it for my L2 cert. Parts not pictured:

X2 54mm QT tubing, 20" each
X2 75mm QT tubing, 53" total length
X2 54mm hemispheric NCs (Custom made, or assembled from whatever junk I find)
CRs, MMT, plywood, avionics & recovery components

Is this going to be a Photon something or other?

Looks like a cool project so far!

Those 3 pieces of G10 make up all the fin surface. There will be some additional wood, but not for stability.

Photon Disruptor is close! I can see the fin similarities. They were introduced the same year. Looking up the Estes catalog (cheating!) will give you the answer.

Is it the one on the same page as the Photon Disruptor in the 76 catalog?
