I just noticed this ...missed the announcement.
Ed Mitchell was very outspoken, not reclusive.

He was one of the Apollo Astronauts that actually put his hand on Bart Sibrel's Bible and swore that he walked on the moon, just before booting Sibrel out of his house.

I also like to point out to the "moon landing was fake" hoaxtards who think that Apollo Astronauts are under threats if they reveal the so called government cover up of "fake moon landings" that Ed Mitchell was on the speaking circuit; testifying that the government is covering up evidence of extraterrestrials at Roswell...therefore...he was not intimidated by the Government, and therefore, since he also said he landed on the moon, it follows the hoaxtrards are full of baloney.
