Happy Birthday Scott. I flew a I405 in your honor this weekend buddy!

Got some goodies this weekend from Loki Research. Great work by Scott, Great Scott!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. It was kind of weird being on the road for my birthday, but the weekend at BALLS was worth it. I'm already looking forward to going next year. :)

All I caught of that K-1127 was a huge cloud of dust that seemed to linger forever with near zero winds Sunday afternoon. Nice flight. :)

Tim, thanks for sharing your cocktail and white 38 photos.

Flew another Loki J820-LW last weekend. What a great motor! Can't beat how easy it is to load either, heh, heh.

Ohh man,,
I didn't see this..
Tim,, is that K 960 LW a beast or what...
All the flights I was jiving out my level 3 rocket I was using the K 960 LW...
Man, that rocket is heavy,, and that load would punch it off the pad with perfect ease....

The Loki Web Store is now open once again. There are some EX hardware sets on the Specials Page here.

Thank you for flying Loki Research everyone. :)

I won't be selling those 3 sizes anymore, but any case size I sell can be used for Research/EX.

Just wanted to mention that I purchased my first Loki reloads and hardware this past weekend. Love the thrust profiles! Super excited to try them out.

What's the difference between a LOKI commercial hardware set and an EX hardware set??

The case lengths are not " standard " Other than that you get the same high quality components .

Though one could make a spacer and put commercial reloads in it at a research launch.

Nothing really other than different size nozzle and plugged forward bulkhead.

TA

Okay, those who do Research, go check out the specials page, again. I did some editing.

Thanks :)

Jason, as you know, all hardware can be EX/Research. Only hardware which has had Loki Research reloads certified in it is considered Commercial hardware. The 76/2800, 76/4800 and 54/1600 have no such commercial certified reloads.

Drat. I typed up a nice post and it didn't submit and I accidentally closed the window when I opened up the laptop again. Trying again!

For anyone who is considering the M3464... You won't regret it.

I flew my WAC Corporal on a M3464 at MWP. HOLY COW.

I never imagined the WAC hitting altitudes in excess of 6,000 feet and that's pretty much what my sims came up with based on my flights with all previous Aerotech motors (M1297, M1500, M1315, etc).

I was not disappointed. 9,100 feet at mach 0.8. This thing was haulin' a whole truckload of ass. I should add that the WAC is a 10' tall, 7.5" diameter rocket -- just to give a sense of scale to the flame that the motor is putting out.

I cannot wait to get another M3464, and I want to try the Spitfire and the White loads for this case as well (75/8000).

I saw this flight as well...
The rocket leaped off the pad like it was a featherweight,,, lol...

I flew my first Loki back in early 2000's. Cert flight on an H144. Man that was a fun flight. Failed the cert due to parachute getting tangled on my dual deploy. Ballsy I know lol.
