OpenRocket Motor Files

Hi,

Does anyone know how to alter motor files in OR? Some of the motors I'm using have a total impulse different from the actual motors themselves, and I want to fix this information.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried contacting the maker of thrust curve?

Use the Preferences, there is a directory that you can put motor files in to add them to OR the file are available from some of the motor manufacturers like CTI has them on their site.

Just grab them from rocketryfiles.com. Complete by manufacturer.

The G138T is already in the list of motors on OR 15.03 build.

Yes but the total impulse is wrong, 167 newton-sec vs 157 newton sec.

The official Total impluse is 157 Ns and when I use that motor in Openrocket, that is what I see, 157 Ns.
The 167 Ns you are talking about is the calculated total impusle!!

Look at the thrust curve data!
