Does anybody have the dimensions & etc. for the Loc Top Gunn?
Or the Rocksim file.
I've searched high & low for anything on this rocket to no avail.:(
Any help would be greatly appreciated.:D

Thanks,

Steve Shade TRA #3180

The upper section a piece of 5.38" loc tube topped off with their 5.38" long nose cone. I heard that the kit is OoP due to no source for the wood transition; 7.5" to 5.5".

These dimensions aren't perfect, but they should be pretty close. I dimensioned a few photos from Vern's site.

5.38" long cone, 21"
5.38" tube: 8"
5.38" to 7.5" transition: 3"
7.5" tube: 60"

Fins (6):
Root: 7.5"
Tip: 4"
Sweep: 0.9"
Span: 5.5"

Attached is a document with the dimensions.

I believe that the Top GUn had 7-54mm motor mounts in it as well.....

Yes it did. It was always a 'special order' item. The most impressive flight I saw was 7 J125-15's. :y: This was before altimeters and K250's :)

Its is a way cool old school cluster rocket (7-54mm). I have one that I got from the original Doc from LOC Ron Schultz. I hope to get around to building it some winter. When I do I am going to use .125 G10 for the fins like Ron did on his one. which was featured on cover of the LOC 1989 catalog.
