Those fins look pretty familiar...Sunday Silent? Honey Badger? Incredulous?

Well, that is a mighty fine build. I prefer something a bit smaller though...

STEP 4: INTERNAL FILLETS
1) First, pull the centering ring out of the airframe so that you can access the space between the motor mount and airframe

2) Mix enough epoxy for a set of two internal fillets (RocketPoxy pictured).

3) Using a dowel rod long enough, gather up a bead of epoxy and spread it along the fin root edge. Repeat as many times as necessary to get a good internal fillet.

4) Set aside and wait for the epoxy to cure, then rotate repeat.

A Wildman build without injection? Blasphemy!

The K2045 should be a hoot. I fly my 4 inch Nike Smoke that way.

What a super smokin fantastic design.........
That thing gives new meaning to the description-- "Sexy Rocket"....
And they way that ruby red tube sets it all off is just insane.......

That's what I was thinking!!! But actually, RocketPoxy is the right choice, and for a boattail like this, it was easy to do. Actually, easier than I thought it was going to be. It only took about three or four dips.
Quick tips on my method...
I used one of my rocket stands to hold the boattail while I dipped and spread the epoxy. Having a flashlight aimed down in there also helped me to get it everywhere I needed. By the third set of internals, I really had my technique down. LoL.

Thanks, Teddy! It's almost like I'm used to teaching complex skills... LoL...
I agree, the kit is amazing. Tim does quality work. This is my third rocket with the red tube, and every time as I'm building, I'm underwhelmed... It just doesn't look all that amazing. Then I hit it with the clear coat and BAM, it comes alive. The pictures just don't even do it justice... Can't wait to get the decals on it...

Couple more pics...
First is a pic of the Demon 98 w/StickerShock Decals

Second is a close-up on the decals as it's dangling to dry from the clear coat...

For those interested... Attached is the OpenRocket file. Built the file myself. Measurements are accurate to the millimeter and the gram.
Enjoy...

Now I just have to figure out how to convert this to a rocsim file....
or I'm gonna have to break down and put open rocket on this computer.... :eyeroll:

OpenRocket is easy... But there will be a Rocksim file available on Tim's website tomorrow. I just don't have Rocksim...

Just pulled it down, final clear coat is dry... Dudes... This is one sweet rocket.

What an unbelievable sexy rocket...
Dix,,
I believe Tim is great at marketing,,,
but I don't think you have to be when you present something that makes people drool...
Perfect design,, perfect look...
Some would say,,
"hey,, there's only so much you can do with a rocket,, they're all the same right"....
Well Tim has been doing this since before he had gray hair on the roof
and look what he just came up with........

I guess it just goes to show you a twisted mind..........lol...

My heartiest congratulations Tim........

Teddy

Yeah,,
Me too,,
I've been tellin the barber to put what he takes off back on top for longer then I care to remember...lol..,.

Just curious... Who grabbed a Demon 98?

I ordered a Punisher 98.

But then Tim mentioned that he hadn't sold a Demon 98 yet (Black Saturday, early morning specific). I felt bad, so ordered the Demon instead.:). Will build it sometime in the next month-to-8 year span.

...and a Onebadhawk harness set for it too. Though I'm old fashioned and slow to catch on:cyclops:, I'm looking forward to finally trying out one of Teddy's fine products!
