Hello everyone!
I am seeking to equip myself with an altimeter with integrated GPS. With the addition of a wireless switch, I would be happy. I do not have a HAM license and do not want any. This leaves me the EggTimer. But I have no talent for soldering electronics.

Is there anyone that offers the whole soldered product, complete?

If possible, I want to know everything that is necessary to operate the EggTimer.

Thx
Steeve

I think you're looking for the Eggtimer TRS... https://www.eggtimerrocketry.com/page47.php You'll want the Eggtimer TRS Starter Set, $140, which includes the TRS GPS transmitter/altimeter and the the Eggfinder LCD display receiver. You'll also need the USB-Serial data cable ($5).

As has been previously mentioned, there are people out there that will assemble it for you. We don't sell them assembled... no time to do it. We're busy enough as it is just trying to get the kits out the door.

Yes, this is the one I need!
Thanks, I already wrote to Connor.

I think you mean solder. One would be hard pressed to "weld" an electronic device :p

Connor McGrath does them.

FYI lots of electronics are welded. Using resistance welding or laser welding is much faster, uses no lead, and has a higher temp rating than solder. Not needed for our hobby but very common.
