Have had a bad case of tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) for the last few months. It was not responding to rest or therapy. Decided to try Platelet Rich Plasma therapy https://coloradosportsdoctor.com/platelet-rich-plasma/ today. I hope it helps because man my arm aches like "heck" now. All the muscles are crampped-up trying to "protect" the injury. Dr. prescribed some pain-killers but it is barely putting a dent in the discomfort. Also, I can't take any anti-inflammatory meds because that interferes with the process. If I had known it would ache like this I might have not done it. Or at least tried rest for a few more months. Guess it is better than going under the knife...

PRP is patient dependent. It has a higher rate of success for epicondylitis in my experience (than surgery).
