Still working through a couple decades of backed up Plastic Model Kits needing to be converted into flying LPR models.
Here are some of the recently completed projects.
I have complete Build photo's but don't want to waste the bandwidth. If some want to see how a particular model was converted I'll do a build thread if I get requests.
below you'll see a Wheels Up 1/72nd Scale F-104G 13mm model,
Wheels down 1/48th F-104C 18mm model.
Wheels Up 1/48th Douglas X-3 Stilleto twin 13mm Clustered model.
Wheels Up 1/48th North American X-15A-2 24mm Model.
Wheels Up 1/32nd North American X-15A-2 24mm Model.
Wheels Down 1/144th Grumman X-29 MMX model.
2 pics- 1/48th Patriot Missile system working Launcher w/ MMX flying model. Just cause it's so KEWL. (Note it's complete build thread is over in the Micro Max forum.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of that 13mm 1/72nd Scale F-104G build if your up to it.

I added a post the the Build thread posted a couple months ago. Hope these Help it's a great little model. Really Scoots on an A10-3T, Only bad thing is I could only get a 10" nylon chute in the BT-5 Body tube. This brings it down faster then I like but so far ON GRASS no major problems:)
Lift Off was too fast for my clumsy timing so all I got was a smoke trail:)

Great looking models John! I am partial to the X-15 and the F-104. I tried doing a PMC on an X-15 but cutting what would be the NC was a little difficult so I left it aside.... still in the box.

Raul;
I've found separating Plastic model Body/Nose sections is much easier with one of the fairly new double-sided Micro-Tooth Razor hand saws Blades. It's possible to split the body & Nose section within a single body panel line cleanly. Best part is the separated parts match up way more closely then I've ever been able to do with any X-Acto Razor saw.
Below is a photo of my JLC Precision Micro-tooth saw, A GREAT tool but on the expensive side. I've found another @ www.micromark.com Their version is a bit cheaper, However the blade is a little thicker. Currently their offset wooden Handle is #86084 @ $9.95, The Double-Edge Razor Blade Ultra-fine Teeth (5pk) is #85853 @ about $16.75.
I'll also show a couple pics of the X-15's and 1/48th F-104 where they are separated. Hope this helps.
