Got a few of these during one of Estes's big sales event. Sold some last Xmas at work and kept 2 of them for me. I did not like how long it was going to be so I shortened it to 21.5", modified the NC, and made it so it separates at the mid-point. I liked the red Fin Tube decals shown on the facecard so I replicated them while also making the decals for the "other side of the fins" since this was one of those kits that came with the decals for only one side... I believe the Estes QCC Explorer had the same issue. I also changed the font of the "46" for a better match with the font of the rocket's name. Painting the inside of those fin tubes was a challenge. I first painted them red but did not like the overall effect so I repainted them black. I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. Yes... no MM yet on it but it will soon be installed with epoxy. It needs a little retouch here and there but wanted to share these now. Enjoy!
