So I measured some Apogee 29mm thick wall body tube with all the white wrap removed, and measured some LOC motor mount tube. I then drew up some centering rings and sent them off to UpscaleCNC for some work. When I got the rings, they were PERFECT. No fitting required.

Here's the result. A 4-29mm to 75mm cluster adapter. The motors will be retained with a screw and washer in the center.



 
That is what is the unused portion of the motor tube it will be used with.
 
Well, this one is very nice!
I did one for a sustainer without Cr's. Was in the booster at the beginning, it was way too heavy for the CG on a 3" rocket. Four motors and casings were adding alot of weight and Open rocket sims were unstable.

I did mine with Pml tubes, and it doesn't enter in a 3" tube unless I force it.
