Here are the only pics I got. Gotta remember the off button on the GoPro, but I was so giddy after the launch I forgot (had left the charging cable at home too).

At last count, Piedmont Area Rocketry Club will have at least 6 members there. The weather looks perfect. Temperature in the mid 80s with winds ~10mph. We're making final preparations for the flight of our 15' Solar Flare-Up on a M1939. Several members are planning to participate in the Minnie-Magg drag race. I'll have my Armageddon and several other new rockets along for the ride. Time permitting I'll get a few flights in. I plan to arrive late afternoon Friday around 5.

See everyone there.
Great showing by Piedmont ARC. You kids flew the heck out of some rockets this weekend. Thanks for letting me hang-out with you. It's a shame the Solar Flare-Up wouldn't cooperate. It was all fun, regardless.

The calm conditions were almost unbelievable. Rockets were going straight up and coming straight back down both days.

Here's the four catfish I caught out of my pond late yesterday afternoon. When we stocked them on May 1st they averaged 4"-6". These ranged from about 14"-16". No, not rockets, but on the other hand I didn't have to drive a 600 mile round trip either.

Fantastic Launch this past weekend in Pawhuska, Osage Country, USA. I flew in total 7 motors equaling 10,189.3 newtons.

These are just a few pics I took. Glad to meet more of the TRF crowd put faces to the names. This launch just keeps getting better every year!

It was a fantastic weekend. You can hang with us anytime. Look for the Solar Fare-Up at Distant Thunder.

Kudos to Tulsa Rocketry group once again.

Has the date for this year's event been set? My Dad wants to come down from PA for a big launch and trying to decide on this one or AirFest (or both).

This years dates are September 24th and 25th. I haven't got to launch a rocket since last years HF. Mother nature:facepalm:

Thanks for the dates. Yeah, Mother Nature, kid activities and field issues have held me to 1 HP and 1 L/MP launch since HF. If a launch is going to sustain you for awhile though, HF is a good one.
