I finally finished this rocket. Almost everything was made from scratch.
Parts:
3" LOC nose cone
29mm motor retention by Estes
1/8" ply fins and centering rings - scraps from Dad's woodshop
(2) body tubes 3"dia x 11.75" - from large bubble wrap packing
home made tube coupler - from scrap tube cut to fit
home made motor tube - from scrap tube cut to fit
1/4" launch lugs - tubing from a broken estes air rocket toy
Parachute - from a prize parachute they drop from the RC blimp during intermissions at a Blue Jackets hockey game.
Gorilla wood glue though out except for attaching the motor retainer. I use general purpose 5 minute epoxy for that.
The parachute was my inspiration for this rocket.
Please go to my albums to see pictures. I wish I had taken pictures during the build. :sigh:

I did fly it once before paint on a F26-6FJ. Very pleased. Once I figure out how to attach a video, I will.
I hope you enjoy,
Kevin
PS,
The bottom of the rocket is RED, not Pink as some of the pictures may appear that way. Once I get better photos, I will post in album.
