I believe they are OOP. (Not sure.) They are compatible with Aerotech reloads.
Dr. Rockets made them under license from Aerotech. When that arrangement ended, Monster made cases. When that ended, Aerotech is now making them. They are all functionally the same.
One thing people haven't mentioned, Dr Rockets cases are anodized a lovely shade of red.
One thing to remember on rouse tech cases.... People love claiming "low serial number" But that's the serial number of that day's run (which is also stamped on the case) Not the total production number.
Not not that I really care either way about this entire discussion......but you are saying that my "serial number 3582" was the 3582nd case made in a day.....I don't know about your theory there. I'm declaring shenanigans on that one.
Guys I was told Tom started the serial numbers over each year. Who knows for sure other than Tom.
These aren't collectible Winchesters, other than colors the first days run is identical to the last days. I can see trying to collect all of the colors. But a low serial really has no advantage in rocket motors. IMO of course.
What is even wrong with my reading comprehension lately. Thanks, sorry.Except for the post right before yours
Wish I still had them...the agony of being a BAR 3 times. Buy it sell it, buy it sell it, and so on
What is even wrong with my reading comprehension lately. Thanks, sorry.
Meh, we posted at exactly at the same time...
Glad to have you for back-up on the color thing. I'm crying right now since I recently destroyed my 54/2560 Dr Rocket case. I've had it since 1998. Oh well.
Adrian
Thanks for all the posts! I'm not looking for one- but curious- when you say "Aerotech compatible" does this just mean that the reloads fit into it, or that the closures are also interchangeable?
