Estes Cosmic Interceptor Mod

Recently added this to my build pile. It's a 2" PSII based rocket with a 24mm MMT. I'm wondering about the ability to up it to 29mm. Any thoughts?

Why not, go for it, just dont put Vmaxs in it.

I'm only thinking 29/40-120 case. I'd still need the centering rings. That's gonna be an issue.

I flew mine on an AT F-74 which is 24 mm No Prob at all

Yes, but I was looking at the possibility of a DD and 29mm.

it shouldn't be that hard to change to 29 mm you will just have to trim up the paper motor vanes to make the ring on the bottom fit, I might just buy one to give it a try

Just a modicum of nose weight, good build technique and a big motor. Rip it off the pad. Was that an Estes rocket that just went like a bat out-a Hades?

I think I've decided to go for it. Now I just need to find centering rings.
