Went there as a kid. Today, my company does contracting there, although I am not at that location.
 
In the aftermath of the anthrax attacks of 2001, I worked with government agencies there (and elsewhere) on a biological defense system. It was called ABATS, for Automated Biological Agent Testing System. Cool stuff. Won an award.

It was during a time when not many civilians were allowed on base. Project went on for a while. On the day we were awarded some sort of medallion in a ceremony, it happened to be the morning they announced the capture of Saddam Hussein. Made for an interesting introductory speech by the commander.
