RDAS -- Downloading GPS Data

Hi All

I had a flight @ LDRS using a RDAS with the GPS ecpansion board. I downloaded the flight data from the RDAS with no problems but cannot get the GPS data to download. I see an index entry for the flight but when I try to download the data, I get a communications error durinmg the download.

It looks like the data will start to doenload OK but after many retries the download will quit. I've gotten as far as 50% of the data downloaded before the communucations error but that its!

Is there anything special aboiut the ribbon cable used to connect the GPS board with the RDAS unit. I'm not using a ribbon cable I made myself.

Wading through old posts, I found this one.

As near as I can tell, this is how the RDAS GPS works (or not). I have 2 GPS expansion boards, and both do exactly what you describe.
