incorrect. you simply have the wrong motor mounts in the design

FG is not light weight. CF is light weight.
It's like comparing the same size boat in FG to Aluminum.
Using the correct resin makes all the difference in strength and flexibility/ or brittleness.

Mostly correct, what I mean is that since they are for midpower type applications (Estes airframes) that I will be able to use fewer plies to get the strength I need which should still be considerable lighter than filament NCs, heavier than CF yes and plastic too, but a substitute none the less.
ah, gotcha.
Like hitting a wake with FG or Aluminum boat.
FG is heavier and will cut through it, while Aluminum will give you more deflection.
