Can the Featherweight Interface Program (FIP) run on a Windows Tablet?

Thanks,
Mike

It works OK on a Winbook tablet running Windows 8.1. The tablet has to have a USB host port, and most of them don't.

With the exception of some of the earlier tablets running Windows RT, all Windows tablets run full Windows 8.1. and most have USB ports - just check the specs. Some of the little 7-8" tablets only have micro USB for charging, but most manufacturers have a done a good job of differentiating the Windows tablets from the "toy" tablets by including USB and sometimes HDMI or equivalent connects.

I haven't tried it yet but, you will need a OTG cable to convert the micro USB to full USB connection.

I don't know much about Windows tablets in general, but the Winbook has a full-size normal USB connector on it, no OTG required.

IIRC, FIP didn't much like being on a small tablet screen and I couldn't figure out how to shrink it, so some functions weren't accessible.
