Here are a few of my personal maxims based upon my life experiences:
1. Bercini's Law of Corporate Meetings: 60% of meeting time will be used for rehashing and reassessing common terminology.
2. Bercini's Rule of Garbage Management: Whenever transferring garbage/trash from a container into a bag, at least one third of it will fall to the outside of the bag.
3. Bercini's Law of Repetition: Anything said often enough, whether or not it is true, becomes the proverbial "They say..." and is accepted as "common knowledge"
4. Bercini's Rule of Labels: "Weird" (or similar label) is a word used by people who are not clever, to describe people who are.
