Kind of neat. I wonder if some kind of motor could be developed from that?

I doubt it. All that appears to be happening is that it takes a very long time for friction to stop the movement introduced into the magnets by his hand. No energy is being created; only converted into heat and sound by friction.

I wondered that too at first but then I remembered that in order to transfer any of that motion to energy would require entering some form of friction somewhere into the equation and then it would negate the whatever it is that makes it work so well like it does. I'm no physicist, but I've asked these questions before and got similar answers from knowledgeable folks here and elsewhere.
Last time I asked it was in regards to a bunch of Metronomes on a table.

I discovered once that you cannot use JB weld to glue magnets to anything.
