Just met him at the last Tripoli Vegas Springfest...amazing EX skills and knowledge, and the coolest wheeled launch pad/EX testing stand ever. Very sad that he's gone. I wish his family the best for coping with their sudden loss.

Wow. I can't believe it.

My favorite memory of Robert is the minute I really met him. Springfest 2014, sitting around the campfire Friday night, someone speaks up about the fact that I had rocket prepped all day and didn't fly. I didn't have a motor. He made me a deal, and said he would give me the M motor to fly, IF I flew it in the next thirty minutes. We talked to the president of Tripoli Vegas and made sure we could under our night waiver, and everyone strapped every light they could find and we flew it alright!!! An M Red, that he made. It was amazing!!!

Fly high Robert. You will be missed.

Robert was a good guy. He was a friend.

Fly high, Robert. Fly high.
