New 24/60 reloads?????
AT posted some test video's a couple of weeks back on FB and Youtube, so they're coming.
Unfortunately for me though, they are probably not going to be ready in time for the annual Australian shipment.
I also had my fingers crossed for the new 29/40-120's, but.....
Not sure how much the certification power-play with NAR is delaying things... considering there are three alternative certifying authorities I don't see what the problem is.

So, looks like it will be 2018 before I get to play

I just want to give a public shout out to Aerotech for all the support they gave this year's U.S. Spacemodeling team. Aerotech powered rockets won two Individual Senior Gold medals (S2P Precision Fragile Payload and S5 Scale Altitude), one Individual Junior Silver medal (S2P), one senior Team Gold Medal (S2P), one junior Team Silver Medal (S2P), and one junior Team Bronze medal (S8D RC Rocket Glide). Gary and Aerotech have been long-term VERY solid supporters of the U.S. Team and this year that consistent support REALLY paid off!

For a number of the events we fly, Aerotech motors are the envy of the world!

Thank you Aerotech!

I'll second that, and say that the S8 teams (RCRG) have the best motors in the world for the event thanks to Aerotech. For bigger impulse classes, nothing beats the power and consistency of the AT motors.

Like Wildman said, use the 98FSD and you'll be good to go. I know they're not certified yet but hang in there, it's on the way.

Yeah so the N3300 in a CTI case doesn't work unless I'm missing something...

- AT Nozzle OD = 3.00"
- CTI GEN 2 aft closure ID = 2.75". (GEN 1 is same ID)

Do I need an RMS retaining ring??? Also I don't use the CTI nozzle holder (that doesn't fit either) when assembling this reload or is there a special one just for Aerotech loads?

I was at Bong this Weekend for the WOOSH launch and there were a good number of DMS H-550STs flew all went perfect. Its a very nice motor. I flew one in a LOC Mini Magg clone made form blue tube.

I flew one in my vindicator Jr today (at woosh), and stupid me didn't put in the ejection charge. I should have, as I had electronic failure and a non-optimal flight pattern. Nice motor though- definitely will fly one again.

Flew my first 38/720 load today at WOOSH... I600R in a Madcow Super Batray. Fantastic flight. JLCR at 400', and everything went perfectly. Gorgeous motor. I'll be grabbing another one very soon...

I'll be grabbing another one very soon...

But what about:
I327DM (my favorite)
J500G (can't go wrong with green?!)
J340M (a J motor and a metal storm? you can't lose!)

etc :)

This case is nice as there's lots of great motors for it.

But... But... But... Red!!

I flew an H550ST reload this last weekend in a crayon rocket... It was pretty sweet, and I'm definitely adding more reloads to my wish list.

Just need to get the folks who run Thrustcurve to add the info on it... anyone remember who the contact is?

TY!

I'm sure John Coker could help you with that.

I would try Mark first:

Hello, Editor of Thrustcurve here. I just checked, and I do believe the motor in question is there already.

I didn't know that.
I didn't either, until a vendor shipped me the reload by mistake when I had ordered the single-use.

I assume the thrust curve is the same and the only difference is the weight of the RMS case versus the single-use.

I will email Charlie and get this sorted.

The DMS is on Thrustcurve.

New 24/60s are looking fun. What kinda NS are we looking at?

These are all between F50s and F63s. That is what you guys wanted, right?

Ok, how did I miss this one:

"Wildman Hobbies and Aerotech have gotten together to bring you the MWP 14 Drag Race.
A Demon 98 including the new filament wound nose cone and the Aeropack retainer flying on a new Aerotech K Dark Matter reload for the 54/2800 hardware plus you get the hardware ."
Correct, here's the static test of that motor and a curve:

Can you pleaaaase do a 29mm plugged threaded forward closure? I already have them from 38-75mm but 29mm would be super super sweet... While you're at it, what about a 29mm plugged threaded forward closure for the RAS? Shouldn't be too much redesign there!

Sounds reasonable. Look for them at the beginning of the year.
