Science Friday, heard on many public radio stations, is asking people to submit something about what the sun does or how it affects your life. It would be nice to get some input from the model rocket community. Read the article and/or listen to the audio once it is posted later today. This is a good chance to get some outreach for our hobby.

Do you think there are people who read something called "Science Friday" who don't know what the sun does? We'd freeze and die without it. However, the disco clam was cool.

I believe they're looking for each person's personal take on the subject. Maybe even some artistic takes on it.

I'll wait and see if anyone gives it any serious thought before I tell you what I was thinking when I made the original post.

Thanks for posting this video, Nick. The start of the song was played in the radio piece and, like so many They Might Be Giants songs, it was a lot of fun all the way through.

When I viewed that video on my iPad I was treated to an ad for Game of War with Kate Upton riding a galloping horse. It was enlightening.
