I just got an email from Trip Barber of NAR announcing that the TARC contest money for this year has been increased from 60k to 100k.

Team America Rocketry Challenge - TARC.
It's mostly a middle/high school event. 3-10 students per team. Grades 7-12. Team entry fee about $125. Expect to spend upwards of $500 to create a qualifying entry. Only about 1 in 8 teams qualify.
