Is there a gallery for this rocket anywhere on here as I just picked one up with a balsa nose cone none the less not the cheap plastic ones that are in all the kits now.

Dunno, but please do share photos, I'm interested in the differences between the balsa and the plastic versions (if there are any).

Thanks!
Jim

There's a gallery: https://www.rocketryforum.com/showt...rnet-(-5341)-Gallery&highlight=hornet+gallery

It's under Centuri Engineering because they produced the original model, the Centuri Magnum D Hornet.

But of course (I just checked), it's missing from the Centuri thread and is floating around somewhere. Though it is found under the Centuri Engineering MFG Index which is a linked list.

I've been trying to draw someones (owner/moderators) attention to the fact that that the Gallery is getting and has been screwed up for some time now. No one seems to care except me. Add your voice to the thread linked below and maybe it will help. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Estes chose to substitute the PNC-55AO for the balsa cone in the last production run of Hornets. Ironically, the Centuri Magnum Hornet appeared to use the PNC-55AC instead.

Hey, guys! Whatever happened to the Estes Hornet #2030? I want to upscale it to a 3" body tube, but now I can't find the kit anywhere! Thanks.
