InteR/Ceptor 72" long version with video

I rebuilt my 6' long InteR/Ceptor model to make it stronger to use the G-25 29mm reload and got some nice vinyl markings from Mark at Stickershock, Maiden flight was dead straight, a really nice flyer at 33 oz rtf.

I do like the big one. Are you kitting this one as well? If so, how much is the kit and the vinyl?

Tom, I appreciate the interest, but the large version uses a lot of foam and they are large pieces even cut for splicing, I think component, box and shipping cost would be prohibitive. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showatt.php?attachmentid=7762414&d=1428816910 has the tracings, you can cut one and build yourself.

Nice job Frank, that was a beautiful boost and flight.

The last flight I had I noticed a bit of wing flutter, nothing catastrophic, but I decided to put 6 oz of balast to make it similar to my X-15 and ALCM and bomarc models which don't exhibit any flutter....The X-15 has a similar wing shape and construction so I'm hoping it is just getting too fast on boost, this worked for my ALCM that started at 33 oz and I balasted to 40 and it got rid of the problem. I did not see this in previous flights.

Here is the latest video, note that it was not a purely vertical boost, this was the first time I was flying it from so far away....that would increase airspeed as well...I think given the 6-7 oz/sq foot wing loading I think the glide won't be impacted that much.
