Can anyone tell me the diameter, depth, and thread pattern of the AT 38mm threaded closure? I'm figuring it's 1/4"-20 @ 1/2" depth but it's strictly a big guess.

Thanks. I found an 800# SS eye bolt that is perfect. Solid eye too. Not bent. Now if I could just locate a 29mm threaded closure I'd be set.

Any reason that I couldn't use the threaded closure for all flights? If I have a threaded can I use it without the anchor and just fly it as a plugged or is there a need for just a plugged closure?

Use away.... no reason not to, I do.

Make your own.

Just a machine screw and bolt.
Drill through knurled part of closure.
Insert screw attach Kevlar loop, for recovery attachment.
Section of plastic straw over threads [blue] to keep from chaffing the kevlar.

Remove if you want to use for motor eject.

I have/use several.
