Hi everyone,

Other than Rotw, is there another source of quality scale data for a Little Joe II?

Kevin

George Gassaway has some nice drawings on his site but I am not sure where it went. Tried to post a link but I could not find it.

George allowed me to use his plans and artwork for our upcoming Little Joe II 1/70th scale model. I could share it, but you may want to first PM him here on the forum.

The pre-production model flew on Saturday, it was quite a nice flight.

Thanks,
-Carl-

Over in the "info central" thread he mentioned a server crash and that he had to reload his pages. I pointed out the LJII pages were still missing, and he said he would start another refresh session. Last I checked https://georgesrockets.com/ was still down, but perhaps it will come back some day...the LJII page was under the "Scale" heading from his rocket page.

After a couple of issues, the whole site is being re-uploaded again via FTP. Will take a few more hours, probably overnight.

I may have to reprint these once they're up and available. My old copies are pretty ratty, and I haven't even been involved with the hobby for over ten years. Thinking about getting back into it, but I need to start from scratch, as I don't have all my stuff anymore. Anyway, maybe in a couple years, I'll be up to snuff enough to rebuild my 1/10 scale LJII, from around the mid-90's.

Edit: How does one attach images here so they show up in the post?

Edit2: Nevermind. I found the tutorial, and it details exactly what I was doing, but for some reason, it wasn't uploading my image, either direct from my comp, or from a URL. I'll figure it out later.

The re-upload I tried a couple of days ago failed terribly. Not sure why. I asked Chris Taylor to re-upload it and he did a great job in doing so.

The re-upload is nearly complete. Here's where the LJ-II drawings are:

Now you have to figure out which of the five that flew, do you want to model. Each one was different.
