A used Estes 29mm bp casing. I need to know the weight so I can place the attachment point of the recovery gear on the first stage of my current build. Thanks in advance---H

Yes. A spent F15 casing weighed 34 grams on my digital scale, which as a one gram sensitivity.

According to Thrustcurve.org, an E16 has a case weight of 44 grams and a F15 has a case weight of 42. These weights are total weight minus propellant, so erosion of the nozzle and blowout of the clay cap will decrease the weight a bit.

I just took the three spent Estes F15 casings out of a Ziplock bag full of spent casings and weighed them together. The result was 105 grams, for an average weight of 35 grams. Of course, YMMV.
