Anyone know of a supplier of half inch foam board (foam sandwiched between two thin layers of cardboard)?
I need to repair my Art Applewhite 18" saucer, and the easiest thing to do is replace the 18" diameter 0.5" foam board disc.

All i have really seen so far is below, which requires buying 12 40"x60" sheets at $18 a sheet.

Maybe that is my sign to build more and bigger...

Craft stores have it. I buy mine from my local Michael's.

I'm not sure regular foamboard will be strong enough. The center of the 18" Delta Flying Saucer is a product called Gatorboard

It is stiffer than regular foamboard. If you need a new center for your 18" Delta contact me offline and maybe I can send you a replacement.
