Estes Rainmaker launch lug question

Question 1: How long is the launch lug?

Question 2: How far up from the bottom of the body tube is it mounted. Instructions say 4 1/2" but the few pictures I've seen appear to be lower.

Okay. I dug down to the bottom of the bottom box in the pile.There I found my old Rain Maker and took some measurements.
The launch lug is 2 3/8" and on my model it is mounted 3/4"from the bottom of the body tube.
I built this twenty years ago, when I thought I knew every thing, so the LL placement may not be correct.
I flew this a bunch of times with no problems getting off the pad.
After looking at the Rain Maker I'm thinking an up scale is in order, I always liked the look of this bird.

Found the plans on JimZ's site... looks like it's supposed to be 4.5" from the bottom of the large body tube.
