I can't believe this is the first one. An original Semroc design from the late '60's. A real nice kit with through the wall fins. Very sturdy when built and an all-round good looking model.

Pretty.

I'll have to take pictures of the two I have. One is now retired as it is wearing Carl McLawhorn's signature acquired at NSL in 2013. The other is my current flyer.

Actually, here is a shot of my first Aphelion that's already been posted on TRF - in the Liftoff gallery.

This was some time before Carl signed it.
