What kind of airfoil fin jig did you come up with? After lots of trial and error I finaly came up with this jig.
I nailed a piece of angle to the edge of 3/4" board, then slid a piece of 80 grit sandpaper under angle and measured where I wanted the 1/4" wood, the 1/4" wood is two layers, once I was done sanding with two layers I removed the top layer and sanded with just the bottom layer.
This shows how it's done, once all the fins were done I switched to 220 grit paper.
All sanded with 80 grit. This took a few hours to get the airfoils done but I took my time and came out pretty dam good. The fins are for the LOC I-ROC kit.
