My el-cheapo launch pad made out of a speaker stand. (Mini rail content inside.)

Building my first MPR's, so decided I needed a launch rail.

Bought this speaker stand from Amazon for $16 shipped.

The top piece was around 2' long and adjustable / removable. Cut a ~6" section of it off and bolted my 10mm Maker Beam rail to it. Also purchased a 98 cent drawer knob from Home Depot and ground down the provided bolt to fit inside the rail. This will be my adjustable deflector shield. Cardboard is there for a template, obviously. Will be picking up a sheet of 16ga stainless.

Whole unit is pretty light, and compact when folded up. No tools required for install or take down. Plan on purchasing a 1010 rail and bolting it to another piece of tubing at some point. Here's some micro buttons on my Leviathan that will be launched from this. Haven't done it yet, will post up results when I do.

Just a heads up, I didn't double post this. This one was stuck waiting for Mod approval and just got released.
